Ariel Motor Company has upgraded one of our favorite vehicles and introduces the newly redesigned 2012 Ariel Atom 500 V8. The previous model Ariel Atom was already regarded as one of the fastest vehicles on the road, so you can already imagine what’s in store for this new model.
The Ariel Atom 500 V8 is packed with a 3 liter, naturally aspirated V8 engine pumping out a staggering 500 horsepower, hence the name of car. To help put that power to the ground , Ariel equipped the vehicle with adjustable LSD, 6 speed sequential race gearbox, custom gear sets, and custom dampers and springs. Of course with a vehicle like this, you have to have the gadgets and gizmos to monitor the system, which is why Ariel outfitted the vehicle with full LCD display to monitor the essentials. The neck breaking exterior is based in black accented by hints of red and gold found throughout including the gold 5 spoke wheels that finish off the look. If you have your eyes on this prize, expect to pay $250,000, and we almost forgot to mention 2012 Ariel Atom 500 V8 is limited to only 25 units.
