Jeep Patriot Freedom

Jeep decided to unveil a special version of the Patriot SUV, a model which receives few styling tweaks at the exterior and interior. The new Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition comes with a new dark red exterior finish, new Oscar Mike badges, military graphics and revised wheels. Inside, buyers get the same logos, restyled seats and new silver stitching.

Infiniti FX review

The FX comes with a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine and seven-speed automatic gearbox, or a choice of 3.7-litre V6 or 5.0-litre V8 petrols, neither of which attract many buyers due to their thirst. It’s a stylish, seductive-looking SUV that majors on design coherence rather more than it does pure functionality. Infiniti ?even goes so far as to describe the FX as “a sports car at heart”. Whether we’d go quite that far in agreement is questionable, but what’s clear is that the FX, even with a diesel engine, is an SUV that’s aimed at keen drivers who probably place style above function in their list of priorities.

Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR Sprints Around the ‘Ring

Hennessey Cadillac CTS-V VR1200 Tests

John Hennessey recently met with Texas Lt. Governor David Dewhurst to test out the new cameras on the 85 mph section of Texas State Highway 130. Hennessey Performance brought out their Cadillac CTS-V with their very own VR1200 twin turbo kit producing 1,226 horsepower and 1,10 lb-ft of torque. New Acura ILX

After revealing the ILX Concept at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show in January, Acura has quickly followed it up with the production version at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. Carrying the same ILX name, the new sedan will be offered with a choice of two different engines, as well as a Hybrid version for those with a particular love for the environment.

Lexus IS coupe coming in 2014

Lexus is reportedly developing an IS coupe which could go on sale as early as next year. Little is known about the model, but it will likely be influenced by the LF-CC concept that debuted at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Engine options should carryover from the sedan, so expect choices to include a 2.5-liter V6 with 204 bhp (152 kW) and a 3.5-liter V6 with 306 bhp (228 kW). There could also be a hybrid variant that uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor to produce a combined output of 220 bhp (164 kW).

2014 Hyundai i10

Development work continues on the 2014 Hyundai i10 as our spies have caught another prototype undergoing testing in Europe. Spotted wearing heavy camouflage, the model has an evolutionary design which is sportier and more elegant than its predecessor. The bulky padding hides of a lot of details but we can see the model will have sweptback headlights, a distinctive greenhouse and a gently sloping roofline. Our spies also said the car appears to feature L-shaped LED daytime running lights that are located near the fog lights.

200-Unit | 2013 Chrysler 200 S Special Edition

For the next installment in Chrysler’s Imported From Detroit series of special editions (300 Motown, 300 Glacier), the company is collaborating with Detroit-based work-clothier Carhartt on the 2013.5 200S Special Edition. How special will it be? Only 200 examples will be built, selling for $29,865 — $3495 more than a 200 Limited sedan with 18-inch wheels.

2013 Buick Enclave

The Buick Enclave is built on the same GM Lambda platform as the GMC Acadia and the Chevrolet Traverse three-row crossovers, and with more than 58,000 examples sold last year, has managed to carve out a lucrative niche in its segment. But all good things must be refreshed—the Enclave was introduced as a 2008 model—so all three Lambdas are being reworked this year, with this 2013 Enclave being the last to break cover. It and the 2013 Chevy Traverse make their debut at the 2012 New York auto show; the 2013 Acadia debuted at January's Detroit show. Buick certainly appreciates the Enclave's success, and that's perhaps why this mid-cycle update is subtle. Materials, details, and styling are slightly revised in the interest of remaining contemporary, but the Enclave’s essence remains fully intact.

2014 Acura RLX

Acura has had a tough time hawking its RL flagship luxury sedan these past few years. With U.S. monthly sales in the double digits for all of 2012, it's refreshing to hear from an Acura rep that the biggest thing the new RLX shares with its predecessor is the first two letters of its name.
